Course Description
In full support of Maria Montessori’s belief that "establishing peace is the work of education" we invite you to join us in an exploration of HOW TO:
- Use disagreements and conflict as opportunities for students to learn valuable relationship skills
- Get to the real cause of your students’ “annoying, unacceptable” behavior
- Give students tools to peacefully resolve their own conflicts
Embracing a uniquely Montessori approach to "classroom management", you can see your students’ daily frustrations, tiffs, and clashes as the “materials” for the most powerful and practical learning you can model and provide for them.
Relationship Intelligence is a natural capacity we all have to engage power with each other for mutual well-being. It comprises a set of capacities that we are born with but that are rarely developed to the level of competencies. You can activate and foster Relationship IQ at the same time you foster their intellectual curiosity and academic achievement.
With the Relationship Intelligence skills that you can provide them, your students will:
- Have the emotional safety to learn optimally
- Be empowered to identify their own needs
- Develop confidence that they can find effective ways to meet their needs
- Make clear requests to help meet their needs (rather than complain, blame, and make demands)
- Empathize with others, with understanding & respect
- Discover the power they have to contribute to others
- Know how to solve problems & peacefully resolve conflicts
YOU CAN develop your own capacity for creating peaceful relationships and a peaceful world, within yourself and in the world, while you do the same for your students.

Upon registration, we will send you the conference number for the classes and worksheets for the first class. We will also send by Priority Mail the Course Materials: The No-Fault Classroom text, and The No-Fault Zone Game.
